Thailand experience a growth in demand for real estate by foreigners
According to the popular international real estate portal of The Move the Channel, in the last 12 months, a significant increase in demand for the home purchase in Thailand by foreigners had been noticed.
The number of requests for properties in Thailand increased by 60% in the second half of last year, whereas only in the Q4 the growth was 37.5%.
This is because tax rates on the purchase of housing are apparently "favoured customers." Just compare the taxes: Singapore -15%, Hong Kong -30% whereas in Thai -0.5%. Tourism is constantly developing, which allows obtaining a stable rental income, reduce unemployment and still keep the high service level.
Last year 32.6 million visited Thailand, which is 9% higher than in 2015.
